Pettit ECO Hybrid Reactive Technology (HRT) Copper-Free Bottom Paint
Pettit ECO HRT Copper-Free Antifouling Paint is engineered with the latest technology available to create a strong hybrid paint film able to handle the harshest marine environments without building up over time. Pettit HRT ECO’s smooth durable paint surface is designed to wear away over time thereby eliminating paint build up as well as the need for sanding. Pettit HRT ECO Copper-Free Bottom Paint is safe for use on any aluminum-hulled boat. This copper-free bottom paint provides excellent antifouling protection; hauling and relaunching won't reduce its effectiveness.
What is HRT? Hybrid Reactive Technology utilizes high-density biocide to maximize effectiveness. That along with film modifiers to reduce yearly build-up, it can maintain color consistency and lower weight impact on the water vessel.
What is ECO? ECO means the paint uses Econea instead of copper. Econea is a copper free biocide that provides great protection at very low concentrations. Pettit HRT ECO contains 6% Econea which has been shown to be as effective as bottom paints made with roughly 50% copper
